These are the most hideous things I have ever seen. I don’t care if they’re vintage from 1989 and in near mint condition. They’re HIDEOUS. And this guy dares to ask $450 for them. Seriously.
If you REALLY have to have a pair of Converse Bat-stars, at least go for the used pair with the $9.99 starting pair. It’s not like some dirt and scuffed soles are going to make them uglier.

A guy at a shoe store in Maynard showed me a pair of these the last time I went in there. He was psyched on them. Said he was going to put them on ebay in another “10-15 years …” I like that he’s in for the long haul.
I had a pair of these as a kid (I was insane for batman) and sold them back in 2004ish for $200 or so.
