Giant Size X-Men – that’s awesome right?

WRONG.

Dead wrong.

Giant Size X-Men #1 was the bridge to the new Uncanny X-Men. Debuting the team that would make Marvel the comic publisher for many, many people – that issue is a classic that will someday hold a place unparalleled by any other comic from the 70’s. Hell, it already does.

But this?

This just reprints issues #57-58. Wocka Wocka. Not that any comic book/s written by Roy Thomas with Neal Adams art are a joke, but this must’ve felt like quite the shakedown to the comic buying Joe back in 1975. Imagine having bought the first issue, seeing the awesomeness unleashed, and then you get this, some reprints?  Well… here’s your chance to take a feel yourself.
